One of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life was to change my career after many years in the fashion and beauty industry, to take a completely new path and train as a complementary therapist.

My new career took me on a journey of self-discovery and healing as well as learning many new skills: it’s opened my eyes to the importance of nurturing our body, mind and spirit and I’m delighted to be able to help others open up to this possibility too. We can forget too easily about ourselves during our busy lives and forget to check in with our bodies to ask them how they are feeling?

I consider myself fortunate to have been given the opportunity to work with Neals Yard Remedies as a newly qualified practitioner in their Notting Hill clinic rooms back in 2012. NYR created a space for me to practice and develop my massage skills and I quickly developed a successful practice with many regular clients. I also gained great experience developing niche techniques such as pregnancy massage and deep tissue remedial massage.

My time with NYR was both enjoyable and rewarding and I am happy to be working with them again for a second time as an Independent Consultant as I return to the North and open up my practice as a massage therapist once again. On a personal level, I and my family love their amazingly nourishing organic health and beauty products and I am excited to be able to offer these and the wider collection of NYR products through my own website.
