Massage
Pregnancy massage
Massage during pregnancy can be a huge benefit to mother and unborn baby. There are many changes to the mother’s body and lots of pressure is put on the joints, ligaments and organs which can often lead to discomfort and pain. Pregnancy Massage alleviates aches and pains but also helps further with relieving stress levels as it has a calming effect and helps mother to relax. As all massages it stimulates circulation and helps to eliminate toxins as well as release muscle tension.
Deep Tissue Massage
Is a full-body massage that uses specific techniques to work below the superficial connective tissue, releasing the deeper muscles, tendons, ligaments of the body and allowing the free flow of nutrients and oxygen to the blood. A considerable amount of pressure is used through slow, deep strokes and added pressure will be applied to areas where there is a real build-up of muscle tension. I like to incorporate some ‘trigger point’ therapy for these clients who may need it. I will always work within the comfort zone of my client and will utilise their feedback. Deep Tissue Massage is aimed at everyone, it especially helps those people that have bad postural habits and individuals that have jobs that cause repetitive strain like drivers, desk workers and also ‘sports enthusiasts’ or individuals with muscle or joint strain/injuries. Deep Tissue Massage is also a fantastic massage for stress.

Swedish Masage
Swedish massage is a therapeutic massage. Unlike deep tissue it uses softer strokes, adjustment of pressure making it a massage for relaxation. It’s designed to improve circulation, soothe your muscles and make you feel more relaxed. It eases muscular tension and improves skin tone, circulation and elasticity. Swedish Massage eliminates toxins, boosts the immune system thus increasing energy levels. This is a great massage to try first if you have never had one.

Indian head Massage
This massage is based on the Ayurvedic system of healing. This is a wonderful massage and very accessible as there is no need for a couch or to remove clothing although, I prefer to work on bare shoulders. Clients are seated and this can be done at work or home, use of oils is up to the client. Developed by Narendra Mehta it now incorporates the upper back, shoulders, neck, upper arms as well as the face and head. The treatment provides instant relief from tension and stress, promotes high levels of alertness and concentration. It balances the flow of energy within our bodies and calms our mind. Encourages good circulation and stimulates hair growth.
Seated Acupressure Massage
Seated Acupressure Massage is based on a traditional form of Japanese massage called ‘anma’ meaning ‘press and rub’. This has become a very popular massage in the workplace but can be given at home or a treatment room. It is quick and very accessible as i work through the clothes and no oils are needed. It stimulates acupressure points in the head, neck, shoulders, spine and lower back. It improves the muscular, circulatory and nervous systems. It helps with backache, repetitive strain injury, headaches, toothaches, stiffness, fatigue, eyestrain and relieves stress and tension. Employees benefit in the workplace as you will feel energised, focused and improves concentration. The length of the treatment can be extended or reduced depending on the client’s needs.

Natural Facelift Massage
Also known as Facial Rejuvenation or Natural Facelift. This massage incorporates a unique blend of highly effective massage techniques, acupressure and facial reflexology. The combined sequence helps clients to look and feel younger. Many people suffer facial tension which builds up in the facial muscles causing puffiness, lines and wrinkles, these techniques release stresses and traumas locked deeply into the muscles and energy of the face, head and neck. Natural lift facial massage also helps to remove toxins from the face, prevent and reduce wrinkles whilst balancing the flow of energy so it’s not surprising this is a very popular and sought-after treatment. For optimum facial lift I would recommend this treatment once a week for a minimum of six weeks. The Natural Lift Facial helps to promote lost skin flexibility by gently toning the elastin and collagen, promoting suppleness and mobility. This is without a doubt the ultimate ‘tlc’ for your skin and you will walk away feeling and looking radiant.
